RUN... IT'S A STAMPEDE!!

Jumanji is one of my favourite movies. In 1869, two people bury a box. In 1969, a twelve year old boy named Alan Parish finds the box, looks inside and finds Jumanji the board game and played it and then mysteriously disappeared into the game. In 1995, two kids found the same game and played it. They were very surprised what came out of it.

My favourite part of the movie is the stampede part. It's very exciting!

Rhinos coming down the hall.
Alan Parish running away from a rhino.
Rhino smashing into a pillar.
Alan Parish grabbing Peter Shepperd.
Alan, Sarah, Judy and Peter are watching the stampede go by.

See this video for the whole stampede scene:

I must agree with you, Red Writer,(great name). Jumanji is a great movie. My favourite scene is the monkey scene when they are tearing apart the kithen. It cracks me up everytime.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrLzGwctOgg Jumanji was ahead of its time when it came out and still a wonder and exciting to watch. ( Theia )

Congratulations, Red Writer, on your new blog and a fantastic first post! I'm so proud of you. I enjoy Jumanji too although the part with the big spiders always freaks me out. Robin Williams (Alan Parish) is a great comedic and dramatic actor and I think he brings both talents to this movie. (Mommy)

Hello, Red Writer. What a great name! You should get a prize just for the name.

I also like Jumanji. It's a really cool movie. My favourite scene is when Alan Parish is stuck in the floor, and the giant spiders are coming. Then he tries to blow on them to make them go away. That's really funny. Just like if it were a real spider and you can't swat it away.

Red Writer you should be very proud of your first blog! You write with assurance and straight to the point. (Better than a lot of College students that I know).

Jumanji is a great movie. I love Robin Williams, he makes every scene seem to be a great adventure full of fun and mischief. I am never sure which part is my favorite, but the flood comes to mind. As a child, I often dreamed of converting my house into a giant swim pool : )

Keep writing, and welcome to the blogging world!

Hello Man in the green hat. I think the funniest part in the movie is at the end when Judy and Peters parents said they would go on a skiing holiday then Alan Parish and Sarah Whittle yelled "NO!!". Thank you fr commenting!

Hello Red Writer. I was wondering if you knew what I just found out that the person who plays Alan's father and the hunter, Van Pelt, who chases Alan around to kill him is the same actor? His name is Jonathan Hyde. (Thanks to Wikipedia) (Theia)
